Carbon Tax to raise West Australian power bills

The West Australian is today reporting that the Carbon Tax will result in a $1billion surge on electricity prices for the state over the next four years.

It predicts that Perth residents will see a $115 hike in their yearly power bills, which will increase as the cost per tonne of Carbon increases over the coming years.

It seems like bad news, but it's yet another sign that solar energy for your home is the only way forward in beating inevitable rising electricity prices.
