Queensland smashes solar taget

LoveEnergy

Queensland has again shown it's a leader in Australian solar, cracking its solar target almost three years ahead of schedule.

A goal was set last year by Premier Anna Bligh's government to double the state's solar generation of 250megawatts over the next five years, and only 15 months later Queensland is now producing 500megawatts.

Love Energy would like to congratulate all the energy-savy Queenslanders who have installed roughly 141,000 solar rooftop power systems and 230,000 solar hot water systems.

State Energy Minister Stephen Robertson says the next target is to get 20% of Queensland's total energy output coming from renewable energy sources like solar by the year 2020.

Love Energy is extremely excited to be entering the Queensland market, and looks forward to being a part of the state when it reaches its next milestone.
