Red Centre goes solar

LoveEnergy

Australia's largest tracking solar system was launched yesterday in Alice Springs.

The 3,000 rotating panels will produce power to supply around 300 homes in Central Australia

The Uterne tracking system differs to a normal solar farm in that each panel is fixed on a rotating joint, allowing it to follow the sun's trajectory and work at maximum efficiency for a longer period of time.

This is seen to be a great future asset for Alice Springs, and a model for what could be used in other regions into the future.

Love Energy is extremely encouraged to see new areas going green and moving forward with solar power.
