SA won't scrap feed-in tariffs

AdelaideNow is reporting South Australian Energy Minister Michael O'Brien has said there is "no way in the world" the state will scrap its solar feed-in tariffs.
Federal Climate Change Minister Greg Combet has called on state governments to scrap their respective solar schemes when the Carbon Tax comes into place, but South Australia will not follow suit.
Michael O'Brien has said he does not want to follow the direction of the New South Wales government, which has been in a period of limbo before announcing this week that it will end its feed-in tariffs in April next year.
South Australia currently recieves 44c/kWh for electricity fed back into the grid, however this is reducing to 16c/kWh on September 31 this year.
Call Love Energy today to lock in the best possible feed-in tariff for the next 17 years.

good stuff o'brien, glad the labor govt in sa are making a stand and not falling into line behind the federals.
Glad to hear it! It's still a shame that they had to cut it by almost half, but something is better than nothing.
