Warning against unlicenced solar

Love Energy

On Saturday The Advertiser and AdelaideNow featured Love Energy Managing Director Richard Mintz and Technical Consultant Leigh McAninich in a story warning against "fly-by-night" solar retailers in South Australia.

They reported that following 218 complaints about solar panel supply and installation in the state since January, the Office of Consumer Affairs' licencing searches revealed 13 of the 34 solar businesses did not have the appropriate licence.

Love Energy Managing Director Richard Mintz warned that customers should choose their solar retailer wisely and get everything in writing, as some solar retailers could disappear after the state feed-in tariff closes on September 30.

Love Energy is a member of the Clean Energy Council of Australia, and only uses fully qualified installers and top quality products.
