Queensland stands up for solar

The Queensland Government stood up for the state's current solar feed-in tariffs at a renewable energy conference in Brisbane yesterday.
The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting State Energy Minister Stephen Robertson said Queensland will avoid going down the path of states that have cut feed-in tariffs or reduced them significantly.
The Queensland Government's Solar Bonus Scheme currently provides participants with $0.44 for every kilowatt hour of electricity they feed back into the grid.
South Australia also currently receives 44c/kWh, however the state feed-in tariff is reducing on September 30 this year.
This means SA residents considering rooftop solar must act now and contact Love Energy to find out how they can lock-in the maximum solar rebates for the next 17 years.
