SA solar audit reveals faults
AdelaideNow is reporting that a random audit of South Australian homes with rooftop solar panel systems has revealed a high number of non-compliant installations.
Of the 300 installations audited it was found that over half were non-compliant, largely involving issues of poor workmanship and untidy wiring.
The State Government has ordered more random audits and will crack down on retailers and installers found to be doing the wrong thing.
As South Australia's feed-in tariff reduction fast approaches and the state's solar boom continues, this is another story that stresses the need to choose a trusted and licensed solar retailer.

It's a shame we don't get to find out which companies were involved in the dodgy installations? It's hard to make much from the findings unless you know where the problem lies.
