World Solar Challenge 2011: 3,000 kilometers across the Australian desert

We mentioned it yesterday, the World Solar Challenge  2011 is on!

37 teams from 20 countries around the globe are crossing the Australian desert from Darwin to Adelaide.

The solar car race does not only put Australia on the map, it also promotes solar energy as a sustainable source for the future and you must love it.
