Solar car race across Australia has power to change world

The 2011 World Solar Challenge is starting tomorrow.
In 1987, the winning Solar car travelled the distance from Darwin - Northern Territory to Adelaide - South Australia at an average speed of 66.9 km/h.
In 2009, the winning Solarcar achieved the same result at an average speed of over 100 km/h with a 25% reduction in the area of solar cells.
It's not without foundation that the technology being used by the 2011 entrants is most likely to be included in production cars of tomorrow.
Each and every World Solar Challenge event is realising new technologies that are pivotal to improving trasportation for now and into the future.
Love Energy is looking forward to following this exciting adventure. We are thrilled to see solar energy utilised more and more in our dayly energy needs, particularly as it makes its way through outback Australia.
