Solar shines in Australia's eyes

Love Energy

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that solar energy has rated extremely highly in a poll of perceptions around the energy industry.

The study, conducted all around Australia including Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth, ranked the public's attitudes towards the major forms of energy in this country.

Solar power came out on top with eight in ten people viewing it positively and only one in ten viewing it negatively, while three quarters of people also viewed renewable energy as a whole in a strong light.

At the other end of the table, coal-seam gas and nuclear power received positive feedback of only 36% and 34% respectively.

The survey was launched by David Utting Communications, who are also a consultant to the mining and renewable energy industries.

Love Energy is proud to see so many Australians holding solar in such a high regard, and is committed to serving the solar needs of South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland.
