Western Australia ideal for solar

Love Energy

The Sustainable Energy Association of Australia says that while State Government changes have impacted the solar PV industry in Western Australia, now is still a great time to install solar.

The SEA says that the recent changes have created an even more competitive market, and the solar PV industry has experienced a rapid growth cycle.

It has called on the State Government to fund an advertising campaign to remind people that solar still offers many excellent benefits to households and businesses in Western Australia, especially with electricity prices expected to continue rising in Perth.

As well as this, SEA Chief Executive Professor Ray Willis said Western Australia is one of the most productive places to install solar, with panels producing up to 20% more power than anywhere else.

Western Australia suspended its feed-in tariff on August 1 when the state's 150MW cap was reached.

Love Energy is committed to servicing Western Australia's solar needs, and can supply Perth residents with a quality solar system that will offer excellent savings regardless of the state feed-in tariff.
